Another year has come and gone, and as we welcome in 2015, we here at PF Safety would like

to wish you a very happy and safe new year.

There will be a number of OSHA standards which are slated to update this year, and a number

more which are set for review. So if you have not done so already, it might be a good time to

review your current occupational safety and health policies and procedures and make sure none

of the changes impact you.

The changes are across all industries and include everything from their recordkeeping rule to

hazard communication, confined space to fall protection. There are also several new partnerships

in place which will impact targeted industries in specific regions of the country.

If you have not heard about these changes, or are unsure of how they impact you, you should

consider consulting a third party occupational safety and hazard auditing firm. Qualified firms

will send knowledgeable auditors to review your facility, policies and procedures, and training,

to ensure everything is compliant today and positioned for the changes coming this year. If you

are in a targeted industry or a targeted location, it is even more important to be proactive;

auditors will be sent to businesses in those areas to ensure compliance.

If you have any questions about the changes next year, please contact us. If you have anything to

add about any of the changes in the new year and how to plan for them, please leave a comment.
